CASHOTA, Next Meeting and Refresher Theory Session

Cashota

A great weekend was had by members of the group over the weekend of 22/23 June during our activation of Kells Priory, Co. Kilkenny (CASHOTA ref: EI023/C, WAI: S44). In addition to the CASHOTA activation, we also took part in the IRTS 80m EI Counties Contest. This was a successful entry with a lot of QSOs and counties worked despite the poor conditions on 80 metres.

Those who took part were;

David EI6GVB, Dennis EI2HSB, Seany EI2HZB, Mark EI7IS, Alan EI3HDB, Mark EI4FNB, Mick EI7GH, Derek EI7GNB, Kieran EI9DHB - thanks also to everyone who called in over the weekend and special thanks to Bernadette (XYL of EI2HSB) who provided the excellent meal. (If I left anyone out, let me know).

Next Meeting

The next meeting will take place on Monday 24 June in the Roanmore Centre at 8:30 p.m. This will be preceeded by a committee-only meeting at 8:00 p.m.

Refresher Classes

The next refresher class will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday 26 June in the Roanmore Centre, Waterford. All are welcome. Please note, that these are simply refresher sessions where questions can be asked and do not cover the full HAREC syllabus.
