On Saturday, activity was on 40m using a Kenwood TS-830S and a Buddipole antenna with a number of SSB QSOs worked around England, Wales, Belgium and Ireland. On Sunday, a Carolina Windom was erected and operation was on 40 and 17m. QSOs were worked in England, Wales, Ireland, Finland, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Poland.
In addition to SEARG being present, there was also entertainment for children from the Wobbly Circus which strangely featured Dennis, EI2HSB :-) a number of birds of prey were on show and John EI3HQB had a vintage Rolls Royce on show at the station. Members of the club along with the junior ops enjoyed the scenic route along the River Suir as part of the train ride.Big thanks to Maria Kyte at Waterford and Suir Valley Railway for facilitating us over the weekend and thanks to everyone who dropped by.
