Repeater News

A new 70cm repeater has been added to the Southern Ireland Repeater Network. The 70cm’s repeater EI7BWR located at Bweeng, Co. Cork has been added to the network by the East Cork Radio Group. It operates on channel RU70 (430.875 + 7.6 MHz)

Recently, a four metre port has been added to the 70 centimeter repeater EI7MLR. The repeater which is on RU76 (430.950 MHz +7.6 MHz) is licensed to the South Eastern Amateur Radio Group and located at Mt. Leinster, Co. Carlow. This port allows access to the repeater from the four meter band. The frequency is 70.400 MHz and a tone of 67 Hz is required to access it. The output power is 10 watts into a folded dipole antenna.
